This schedule is meant to help you understand the timing of the tour. In winter, it gets dark early, so the program should start as early as possible. In summer, the start time can be a little later.
7:45–8:00 — Meet your guide at your accommodation and transfer to the cable car.
8:45 — Arrive at Medeo, the lower cable car station. Take the cable car to Shymbulak, then continue to Talgar Pass at 3,200 meters.
9:45 — Arrive at Talgar Pass. You can use the restroom, look around and prepare for the trek.
10:00–12:00 — Trek to the ice cave on Bogdanovich Glacier. The hike can take anywhere from 40 minutes to 2 hours, depending on conditions.
12:00–14:00 — Explore the ice grottoes and caves. Free time.
14:00 — Start the return trip. On the way back, you can spend more time at Shymbulak ski resort, visit a café or restaurant, or take the cable car down on your own. Your cable car ticket remains valid until the evening.
